DAY 1| AVIGNON
You will land in Marseille France either late morning or early afternoon upon your flight.
Before we begin our Provence Tour, you will have some time to refresh at your hotel located in Avignon. After a quick nap or a walking discovery of your surroundings we will follow a guide inside the Palace of the Popes. The Avignon Papacy was the period from 1309 to 1376 during which seven successive popes resided in Avignon rather than in Rome following the conflict between the papacy and the French King Philippe IV Le Bel and the death of Pope Boniface VIII after his arrest.

DAY 2 | UZÈS AND THE PONT DU GARD
Morning at the wonderful weekly market in Uzès. Lunch in this charming and well preserved old town. Afternoon guided visit of the spectacular Pont du Gard, a Roman aqueduct originally bringing water to the city of Nîmes.
Group dinner and second night in Avignon.

DAY 3 | the luberon
A full day in the Lubéron region for it’s special landscape and Provencal medieval villages of Gordes, Lacoste (for the Marquis de Sade castle), Oppede-le-Vieux, Roussillon, Fontaine de Vaucluse, the Senanque abbey etc.
Lunch in a village.
Dinner on your own in Avignon and third night in town.

DAY 4 | Arles and les baux-de-PROVENCE
Lunch in the city of Arles before an afternoon guided visit, a Roman town with many monuments and to follow Van Gogh steps.
Artsy afternoon at the Carrières de Lumières for a surprising and amazing show.
Group dinner and last night in Avignon.

DAY 5 | aix en provence to nice
Guided visit of Aix-en-Provence, the city of “1000 fountains” and the second after Paris for the number of historical sites, 140.
Afternoon on the road to Nice via Antibes et Cannes.
Dinner in the old town district.

DAY 6 | Nice, monaco and saint pauL
On the road to Monaco we will stop by the medieval village of Éze which clings to the rock 1,000 feet above the Mediterranean, before driving back along the coast.
End of day at the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence which was home for many painters, Vasarely, Soutines etc.
Diner on you own.
Second night in Nice.
